Association Entrance Sign Proposal
Over the past several years owners have talked about the need for a large sign at the entrance of CRCCA. Michael Simmons asked Signs-R-Us to design such an entry sign. This vendor designed the sign and used Photoshop to add their design to a their picture of the south east corner of the intersection of Cooper Street and the CRCCA private road. The cost for this sign, including permitting, construction, and placement is:
$4,000.00
The sign design includes an overhead Association identification and address sign in the form of a banner. This Association sign is mounted on four vertical steel pipes that also provide mountings for individual owner/renter signs. This would be an Association cost. Individual business signs would be constructed and mounted by Signs-R-Us at a cost of $200.00 per unit space. Larger owner/renter signs could be constructed to occupy more than one “slot” at an additional cost of $200.00 per slot. This would be a one time charge for the owner/renter requesting space. The request for authorization for this signage would be processed by the Board as per the Bylaws of CRCCA. Any unauthorized signage would be removed at the owner’s expense.
Because this project represents a reasonably large capital expense exceeding the guidelines in the Bylaws, the board has delayed this project pending approval of the membership. Input from the owners will be requested regarding both approval for the project and suggested meeting date, time and place to discuss and approve this proposal. The Donna Hendrickson, Treasurer CRCCA will present the latest financial information at this meeting so the owners may determine if an assessment will be required.
